Lucan saw the white flash, signaling that his login was starting up. Back here again, Lucan thought to himself. His heart started racing, and he was trying to determine whether it was excitement or fear that caused it. Whatever this is, it's not important. We've got to do our job right now, he thought. Lucan spawned back in the cave and saw DarkMist searching around.
"Yep, I was right," DarkMist said, "there's no loot anywhere."
"What happened yesterday? You just left me here," asked Lucan.
DarkMist walked around the body once more before he replied "Oh yeah, yesterday... Funny story about that. You see me an-" he was cut-off by Lucan.
"Hold on, I got a message." He said, "it's from Haron."
"From who?" Asked DarkMist, then light in the shape of a body shone and Ironrein appeared.
"Hey guys," She greeted.
"Hold up," Lucan said, as he replied to the message from Haron that asked: where are you guys?
"Hey, who's Haron?" DarkMist asked Ironrein.
"He's Lucan's friend irl, him and Lucan started the quest, he sacrificed himself to save Lucan from the man/spider." Replied Ironrein.
"Alright, I told Haron to meet us here. Now, what the heck was that yesterday, Ironrein. You just randomly left us, then Dark left," questioned Lucan, sounding a bit mad.
"That reminds me, I got to tell you something," replied DarkMist, but before he could say anything else, Ironrein cut in and said,
"He's my brother!" Lucan stood back and looked at them, they did sort of look alike.
"I never would've guessed, but there's something that me and Haron have to tell you when he gets here.”
They waited in the cave for awhile before Haron actually showed up.
"So this is Haron?" Asked DarkMist.
"Yeah. And you are?" Haron replied.
"This is DarkMist. He helped us defeat the man/spider thing," Lucan informed.
"Actually, I sort of saved you guys," added DarkMist.
"He's my brother, too," supplied Ironrein. Haron grabbed Lucan by the shoulder and pulled him to the other side of the cave.
"Dude, this gets creepier by the minute." Haron said.
"What's wrong this time?" Asked Lucan. Haron lifted his shirt in the game and the scar was still there.
"That shouldn't be there, the character is supposed to be reset after they die." Said Lucan, what is going on? He thought.
"Let's tell them about this now." He said, and they made their way back to Ironrein and DarkMist. Lucan explained to them about the scar on Haron in real life and in game.
"So is it there right now?" Asked Ironrein, then Haron pulled up his shirt and the scar was there.
"We think that there's something really weird going on here," said Haron.
"Let's go to the main town and try to figure out what's going on here." Suggested DarkMist. Everyone agreed and they started making their way to the castle. The group was about 3 miles out from the town when a dryad came out of the woods along the path they were walking down. The dryad was in a very bad condition, it was an npc and had cuts and bruises all over.
"Please help us" it said "the woods of continuity are under attack and we need help."
"We're kind of busy here, maybe later." Said Ironrein.
"There's no time to waste, please," begged the dryad.
"Let's just do it and get it over with," said Lucan. With that the group followed the dryad into the forest.
